Dr. Sheridan Kay was born in Australia into a large family of chiropractors. She graduated from Life University in Atlanta, USA in 1996. Currently, Sheridan teaches the Thompson Technique at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic.
She faced a massive challenge when she became an associate of her late father, Dr. Alan Brady. Because of her size and age, people thought she’s not strong enough to be a chiropractor. Her father advised her to get stronger with love which she did, and it completely changed her practice.
On this episode, Dr. Sheridan shares the challenges she faced when she was starting her practice and when she moved to New Zealand. Also, there was a time where she felt burned out with family and health. Breathing, having people to guide her to bring things back to herself, setting clear boundaries with love, and looking after herself restored everything for her.
